Wear this look to the post office, Jury Duty, maybe even a night at Dave and Busters? Go ahead, the world is your Oyster! Personally, this formula is the epitome of my summer 2023 aesthetic. 2. Using Timeless Accessories to Dress it Up
Picture this: you receive an invitation to a summer destination wedding in Mexico. As excited as you are to celebrate one of your dear friends' nuptials on the sandy beaches of Cabo, the stress of finding something that aligns with the ever so ambiguous “casual beach cocktail” dress code lingers. But don’t you worry, because the very same dress you wore the other night to Dave and Busters has the potential to become formal attire with the right styling! I believe black shoes have a way of elevating any look, so this dress paired with a pair of black platform sandals immediately reads more formal. A small black purse seems to pull the whole look together making it feel refined and classic. Throw in some dainty jewelry, slick back your hair, and there you have it!
3. Leaning Into a Specific Vibe
So you may be thinking, “where am I going to wear this outfit?” But the better question is where am I NOT wearing this outfit. These $40 cowboy boots are a treasure discovered amidst the eclectic options at the thrift store Buffalo Exchange. When paired with this dress, they have a transformative power that makes me feel like an ethereal boho princess that brews her own kombucha. It also makes for a perfect transitional outfit to bridge our spring-to-summer ensembles.
